Member classes

Membership of CropLife is available in the following classes:
 
Crop Protection Member – Class A
Any corporate person involved in the basic manufacture of, the formulation of or the supply of Industry Products[1] specifically relating to crop protection, and with sales greater than $25 million or less than or equal to $25 million.
 
Crop Protection Member – Class B
Any corporate person involved in the basic manufacture of, the formulation of or the supply of Industry Products[1] specifically relating to crop protection and with sales of less than or equal to $25 million.
 
Crop Biotechnology Member
Any corporate person involved in any one or more of the scientific discovery of, the technological development of, the production of or the supply of Industry Products[1] specifically relating to crop biotechnology.
 
Crop Protection Associate Member
Any person that is involved in the provision of consultancy services to, or has an interest in, the crop protection aspect of the industry.
 
 
Crop Biotechnology Associate  Member
Any person that is involved in the provision of consultancy services to, or has an interest in, the crop biotechnology aspect of the industry.

[1]           Industry Product means an agricultural and industrial chemical (either technical or formulated) or biological product intended for use for agricultural, pastoral, horticultural, domestic or industrial purposes for the control of pests or the improvement of production of plants including a product for the diagnosing, curing, alleviating or preventing any disease or injury of plants, but excluding fertilisers

[2]           Calculated on sales of industry products in the previous financial year.

[3]           An incorporated entity providing consultancy services to, or having an interest in either the crop protection or crop biotechnology aspect of the industry. 

[4]           Persons employed by companies who otherwise may have sought membership under Crop Protection Class A or Class B, or the Associate Corporate Class shall be excluded from Individual membership.
